          "METUCHEN, Nov. 6 - Plans are being made by the Jane Addams Craft Club for a food and household goods sale to be held at the Mayo and Lytle store on Main street on Saturday, December 4.
          Further arrangements will be made at a meeting at the home of the leader, Mrs. R. C. Miller of Woodbridge avenue, next Wednesday afternoon."

          "METUCHEN - New Jersey College for Women has just named two Metuchen girls as accepted for admission to the entering freshman class.  They are Miss Marjorie Weber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Weber of 5 Lawrence St., and Miss Elizabeth Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Christian Miller of 60 Woodbridge Ave.  Both are recent graduates of Metuchen High School."

          Miss Miller is a graduate at Metuchen schools and New Jersey College for Women.
          A graduate of Missouri School of Mines, Mr. Volz is a plastic engineer."

          "METUCHEN, Oct. 19 - Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Miller, of 60 Woodbridge avenue have announced the engagement of their daughter, Margaret Janice, to Louis Berge of East Orange.
          Miss Miller attended Metuchen High School and Bucknell University and is employed as a executive secretary in a Newark firm.  Berge attended Newark schools and the Newark College of Engineering and is employed as an engineer with Western Union.
          A winter wedding is planned."

          Mr. and Mrs. R. Christian Miller of Metuchen announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Elizabeth J. Miller, to Lawrence C. Grambo Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Grambo of Arlington.
          Miss Miller is a graduate at Metuchen High School and New Jersey College for Women.  She is affiliated with Industrial Tape Corp. as employment manager.
          Mr. Grambo was graduated from Kearny High School and Newark College of Engineering.  He served in Europe during World War II, and is also with Industrial Tape Corp. as an industrial engineer.
          A spring wedding is being planned."

Humphries, retired minister of the First Presbyterian Church, Metuchen, officiated.  Miss Virginia Hunter was solist."

          "METUCHEN - Funeral services for R. Christian Miller of 90 Woodbridge Ave. have been scheduled for tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave.
          Interment will follow in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
          Mr. Miller. 64, died Monday at his home.  He was a former Metuchen tax assessor and was the owner of an insurance business."
