"Pleasant Grove Woman Dies; Rites Monday"
      "PLEASANT GROVE - Myrtie Cox Carrel, 81, a resident of Pleasant Grove since 1962, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lyle Stewart of causes incident to age.
      She was born Nov. 30, 1883, in Birmingham, Ala., a daughter of Ernest T. and Josephine Banner Cox.  She married Frank E. Carrel on April 8, 1903 in Birmingham.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  He died in 1957.
      Mrs. Carrel was a convert to the LDS Church.  Following her marriage she moved to Miami, Fla.  In February, 1949, she moved to Salt Lake City and to Pleasant Grove in 1962.
      Surviving are one son and two daughters, Frank E. Carrel Jr., Richmond, Va.; Mrs. M.A. (Jeanne) Mock, San Bernardino, Calif.; Mrs. Lyle (Veatrice) Stewart, Pleasant Grove; two grandchildren; one brother, Ernest T. Cox, Birmingham, Ala.
  Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in Our Chapel of Memories Mortuary, Provo, with Bishop T, Ardie Adams of the Pleasant Grove Seventh Ward officiating.  Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday prior to services.  Internment will be in the Timpanogos Memorial Gardens, Orem."
