Funeral Services Held For James R. Bunker
      Funeral services for James Raphael Bunker, 63, were held Wednesday, June 5, at the St. George Second Ward Chapel under the direction of Bishop Kay Wilkinson.
      Mr. Bunker died at the Dixie Hospital of a heart ailment.
      He was born Feb 21, 1905 to James L. and Katherine Nordfors Bunker at Bingham, Utah.  He married Adele Slack on Feb 21, 1929 in the St. George Temple.  She died Feb 24, 1966.  He married Della Leavitt on May 19, 1967 at Las Vegas, Nev.
      He was a former resident of Gunlock and Veyo and came to St. George in 1949 where he has since resided.  He was a rancher and farmer and has been employed the last 12 years at the Dixie College.  He was an active member of the LDS Church.  He served in the Southern States on a mission for the church.
      Survivors include:  widow; two sons and three daughters:  James Darrell, Enterprise; W. Garth, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Trenton (Beverly) Jones, Parowan; Mrs. Bennie (Kathryn) Nelson, No. Las Vegas; Mrs. Dan (Carma Lou) Morris, Salt Lake City; two step sons:  Walter G. Weber, Las Vegas, Nev.; William R. Weber, Las Vegas, Nev.; twenty-nine grandchildren.
      Interment was in St. George City Cemetery under direction of Cannon-Metcalf Mortuary.
