| Notes:  This is the historic Olson family home.  Henry Olson
built it for his family about 1922, on a double wide lot.  The two story home
had very large rooms, including living and dining rooms, a kitchen
and separate breakfast room, a service porch, a master bedroom, a
smaller sitting room, and a bathroom.  Upstairs, there were two
bedrooms, two enclosed sun porches, and a half bath.  There was a
side porch off the sitting room, and an expansive covered front porch.
There was a large basement, with room for the heater.
Behind the house, there was a double car garage, with an attached laundry
room, and a workroom or storage room.  The yard included a walnut tree,
two plum trees, a pomogranite tree, an apricot tree, and a fig tree.  The
front yard included a pine tree, that while small when planted by Henry, it grew
                                  to tower over the house.

This was Don Olson's home until he maried Frances Miller on 1 Oct 1944.  They
began their marriage in a small home at 1025 Edith Street, Alhambra.
In 1947, as Don's family began to grow, he and his wife, and two daughters,
moved back into the home.  The home that was built for only two children,
eventually was occupied by seven children
