Daniel W. Hancock was the Chief Financial Officer of AIA and the principal designer and programmer of A&D. A fourth-generation native of the Napa Valley, he began formal genealogy research as a teenager. More about Dan.
Mr. and Mrs. Hancock began developing Ancestors and
Descendants over a decade ago. They
incorporated AIA in January 1995. Following beta testing,
AIA began international sales of A&D in December 1995.
AIA was dissolved in January 2001.
