Notes:  Per Source 965, Esther said that, when she was a child, she had to wait for one of her brothers to come in before she could go out to play in the winter — because she wanted his boots. In March 1901, Esther was 21 years old, single, and living at her parent's farm in Bosanquet, Lambton County, Ontario, with nine of her brothers and sisters.  Ten years later, in 1911, she was still living at the family farm.
