Notes:  In 1902, Alice Eleanor Catt became a young widow when her husband Charles' passed away.  She had two children and was then living in or near the village of Manitou, and within the Rural Municipality (R.M.) of Pembina, Manitoba.

In July 1906, Alice was still living in or near the village of Manitou.  Her daughter Sadie M. Harman, then 14, was living with her — as was Alice Reynolds, age 20, her niece and the newlywed bride of Norman Catt.  At that time Alice Eleanor had four milche cows.

In 1919, after Alice Reynolds (her brother Norman's wife) passed away, Alice kept house for Norman and his eight children at Ladysmith, in the R.M. of South Norfolk, Manitoba.
