Notes: Bill was born and raised in Illinois, but he lived in Minnesota most of his life. In 1915 he married Bertha. They are shown in that year in the photo at the left. In 1920 Bill and Bertha were living at Logan, Grant County, Minnesota, with two infant children. In 1930 they were living at Logan with three children.

In 1936, Bill and Bertha bought the Henry Bertram home place that Henry (Bill's father) had owned on five-mile creek, five miles west of Herman, Minnesota, on Highway 27. Bill and Bertha lived on that farm until Bill retired from farming. They then moved to a house on the west side of Herman. Bill passed on in 1974 in Wheaton, Traverse County, Minnesota.
