| Notes:  In the 1930 U.S. census, Gounod Romandy, 36, and his wife Jean, 24,  were living at 
                                  721 N. Vista St., Los Angeles, California.  Gounod was a musician in the motion picture 
                                  industry.  Their son Gounod, Jr., was 4.   They owned their home, valued at $7,000.,
                                  and had a radio. 
 In the 1940 U.S. census, the family was still in the same house.  Gounod, 46, a 
                                  violin musician, had earned $1455. and had finished one year of college.   Lillian J., 34, 
                                  had completed 3 years of high school, and Gounod A., 14, had completed one year of high school. 
                                  Dianne was 1 year.   Their home was valued at $3250.
 
 In the 1950 U.S. census, Jean, now a widow, is still living in the house, with Gounod, 20, and 
                                  Dianne, 10.
 
 The house had been built in 1923, and was 1,176 Sq. ft., on a 5,584 Sq.
                                  ft. lot.  It had 2 bedrooms and 1 bath.
