Notes: Louis H. Wittnebert married Dorothy Miller about 1924. They were both from
Metuchen, living along Amboy Avenue. Louis was an auto mechanic working in
a garage. Their daughter Dorothy E. was born in 1925, and their son Louis was
born 10 Apr 1928. Their daughter Dorothy died in 1936 at the age of 12 years,
and is buried in the Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
In 1940, Louis was running his own gas station with tourist cabins.
In November 1959, Dorothy and Louis traveled to Florida for the first time,
along with her cousin Bess and her husband R. Christian
Miller.
Dorothy died in 1970. Louis died in Dec 1977. His last residence was in
Manasquan, Monmouth, New Jersey, but his last Social Security benefit was paid in
Belmar, Monmouth, New Jersey. Both are buried in the
Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy,New Jersey, alongside their daughter Dorothy. |
