Notes: Vernon Aaron Strome and Florence Myrtle Detwiller were married on 18
Jul 1936. They had a family of four children.
Vernon farmed with his father until they moved to Humboldt. He worked as a lineman,
finally for the Saskatchewan Power Company (SPC). Florence worked as a nurse in Watson,
Saskatchewan. When the family moved to Humboldt, she worked at St. Mary's Villa.
In 1968, 1972, and 1974,
Vernon Strome, SPC, and Mrs. Florence Strome, were registered to vote in Humbolt, Saskatoon,
Saskatchewan.
Florence died in 1978. Vernon eventually went to live in the Middle Lake Home. He died
in 2001. Both he and his wife are buried in the Humbolt Public Cemetery, Humboldt RM #370,
Saskatchewan. |
