| George L. Baldwin. "Special to the Journal", Obituary/date unknown. RAHWAY--George Leslie Baldwin, 78 of 85 Sterling Pl., Brooklyn, formerly of Rahway, died yesterday at Kings County Hospital, New York, after a short illnes. He formerly was a real estate broker, after being in the sand contracting business for a number of years. While here he was a member of Rahway Lodge of Elks. Born in Caldwell, the son of Daniel W. and Evelina Jacobus Baldwin, he resided in Rahway for six years and had been a resident of Brooklyn for 25 years. Surviving are his wife, Frances L. Baldwin of Westfield; a son Wilfred L. Baldwin, Westfield; a daughter, Mrs. Peter J. Miller, Alhambra, Cal., five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; a brother Edward J. Baldwin, Los Angeles, Cal. The funeral will be held at the Pettit Funeral Home, 371 West Milton Ave. | ||||
