Chester LeRoy Hancock and Lorna Margaret Clayton were married on 21 Nov 1942 in the Wesley United Church,
Ottawa, Carleton, Ontario. They had met while both were serving in the war department. They went
to Montreal on their honeymoon, then made their home in Ottawa.
While living in Ottawa, Chester and Lorna had two boys, Richard and Thomas. After the war they moved to
Thunder Bay, Ontario, where Lorna had grown up. Here they added two girls to the family, Margaret and
Karen. In the 1945 Voter lists, they are listed as living at 516 Brodie Streeet, City of Fort William,
Ontario. Chester L. Hancock is listed as a soldier, and Mrs. Chester Hancock as a housewife. Living with
them was her father, Richard Clayton, retired.
Chester died 31 Oct 1989, place and burial unknown. Lorna died 6 Mar 2012,
in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
