Notes:  David P. Williams and Mary Ann McCaw were probably married in 1849.  This is based on the fact that David's first wife Mary had died in June 1847, and their first son was born about 1850.  David was about 33 years old and Mary Ann about 18.
In the 1850 USA census, David, 34, and Mary Ann, 21, were living in West Deer Twp., Allegheny, Pennsylvania.  David was a farmer, whose real estate was valued at $2,000.  John Trimble, 13, was enumerated in the household.

David and Mary Ann owned land in West Deer Township (later named Richland Township), Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, for several decades.  When David's brother Joseph and Joseph's wife Mary Ann sold their adjacent 59 acres and 271 perches on 23 Mar 1858, David and Mary Ann, along with three other Williams brothers and their wives, signed the Indenture to Quit Claim their interest in Joseph's land.

In the 1860 USA census, David P. Williams, 43, and Mary Ann, 30, were still on their farm in West Deer.  Their children were James, 10, Thomas, 8, and Harmon, 8, and Lizzie 2.  William Jones, 17, a laborer, was enumerated in the household.  Their real estate was now valued at $7,000., and personal estate at $1,5000.

In the 1870 USA cen, David Williams, 54, and Mary A., 40, were farming in what was now called the Richland Twp.  Their children were James, 18, Thomas, 14, Harmon, 12, Elizabeth, 12, Theodore, 9, Anna, 7, Margaret, 5, David, 3, and Joseph 3 months.  Their real estate was now valued at $14,000., and personal estate at $2,500.

In the 1880 USA cen, David Williams, 64, and Mary A., 50, were farming in the Richland Twp.  Their children at home Lizza J., 21, John T., 18, farm laborer, Anna M., 16, Margaret A., 13, David P., 12, farm laborer, Joseph D., 10, at school, and Gertrude E., 5.  David was described as having a Fistula.

David P. Williams died 19 Mar 1882.  He is buried in the Pine Creek Cemetery, Allison Park, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.  Mary Ann continued to live on the farm until sometime after 1900.  She died in 1920, and is buried alongside him.
