| Notes: Grace Marion Rushworth was born 6 Jan 1908 in Jamestown, Chautauqua, New York. She was the second daughter of Orlando Nelson Rushworth and Isabella Detwiller. Marion Detwiller and cousin Harry Lorne McNaught.
Grace's brother Elverton Crissey was born in Nov 1910, followed by her sister
Isabelle in Nov 1916. The family was now complete. In the 1920 U.S.
census, her aunt Elizabeth D. Wilson was living with
the family. In the 1925 New York state census, the family was alone.
Her father Nelson was President of the Farmers & Mechanics' Bank. Grace attended Jamestown High School, and was the Junior Class Historian in 1924. She attended Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts, and was in the Junior Choir, 1927 - 1928. Grace married Floyd Albert Donelson on 29 Nov 1929 in her parent's home in Jamestown, New York. In the 1930 Jamestown City Directory, they are listed as living at 49 Cameo Apts., Jamestown. Floyd was the Sec.-Asst.Treas. of the Donelson Trucking & Storage Co., Inc., a family business. In 1932, Grace and Floyd were living at 317 Hazard , Jamestown, and in 1934 at 75 Barrett. This her husband's childhood residence. Their son John Garfield Donelson was born 29 January 1936 in Jamestown. In the 1940 U.S. census, the family is found at 75 Barrett Avenue. Grace had completed 4 years of college, and the family was renting the house for $15.00 a month. In the 1946 Jamestown City Directory, Grace and Floyd are listed as living at 69 Barrett Avenue, with his father. In the 1953 Jamestown City Directory, Floyd is listed as President of the family company and Grace as Secretary. Grace died 30 May 1992 in Jamestown, New York. Her burial place is unknown.
