Provo Couple Will Be Feted Sunday
      Mr. and Mrs. Neils [sic] Alma Peterson, longtime residents of Provo will be honored on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary Sunday with an open house.
      Setting for the social will be their home at 100 W. 960 N., where they reside with a daughter.  All friends and relatives are invited.  The couple request that no gifts be brought.  Hours are from 2 to 6 p.m.
      They were married Oct. 9, 1900 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  From 1900 until 1918 they resided in Salt Lake City and Eureka.  In 1918 they came to Provo where they have since resided.
      Both have been active members of the LDS Church.  Mrs. Peterson, who is the former Annie Walker, is the recipient of an honorary Golden Gleaner Award and also has a 25-year Primary pin.  At the present time she is serving as a Relief Society visiting teacher.
      Mr. Peterson holds the office of High Priest and has worked in both Mutual and Sunday School organizations and in Priesthood quorums.
      They are the parents of the following sons and daughters, Carl Peterson, Price; Laurence Peterson, La Canada, Calif.; Leone Peterson, Provo; Owen Peterson, Provo; Vernon Peterson, Idaho Falls, Ida.; Mrs. George (Verda) Bollschweiler, Salt Lake; Mrs. Wilson (Zella) Street, Pittsburgh, Calif.; Mrs. Kendell (Elayne) Rasmussen, Idaho Falls and Mrs. Vern (Clara) Bullock of Provo.  The couple also have 28 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren
      They will be honored with a family dinner Saturday.
