Provo Couple To Observe Wedding Date
      PROVO (Special) - - An active interest in young people is what keeps one young and active himself, according to Mr. and Mrs. N. Alma Peterson, 100 W. 10th North, who Monday will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary.
      Mrs. Peterson follows the philosophy of staying interested in young people by teaching Primary in University ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She is a member of the Utah LDS stake primary board and is captain of a Daughters of Utah pioneers' camp.  Mr. Peterson comes in for his share of church work and is a member of the high priests' quorum of University ward.
      Mr. Peterson was born Feb.28, 1878, in Lehi, and Mrs. Peterson was born in Spring Valley, Nev., Feb. 7, 1878.  Both of them moved to Hinckley, Millard County, while very young and spent their childhood years there.
      They were married Oct. 9, 1900, in the Salt Lake LDS temple.  They lived in Eureka several years before moving to Provo in 1918.
      The couple has nine sons and daughters and with several members of their family, will visit the Idaho Falls LDS temple on their anniversary.  Their sons and daughters are Leon, Owen and Vernon Peterson, and Mrs. Vern (Clara) Bullock, Provo; Karl A. Peterson, Price; Laurence Peterson, Honolulu, Hawaii; Mrs. Wilson (Zella) Street, Pittsburg, Cal.; Mrs. Kendall (Elaine) Rasmussen, Idaho Falls; and Mrs. George (Verda) Bollschweiller, Salt Lake City.
