Notes:  Alma was born in Napa County, California, in the Blue Ridge mountain area where her parents had a cattle ranch.  She attended the old Monticello School.  She lived at the ranch until her parents decided to move in 1905 their two sons and four daughters to 21 North Street in the town of Napa. Alma was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Napa.  She joined that Church on 1 Jun 1906. The photograph at the right shows Alma in 1908.  She married in 1909. The photograph below shows her with her sisters and father circa 1942. Alma and her husband Walter owned and operated a prune ranch on the Old Sonoma Road until Walter's retirement in 1950.  Thereafter they lived in a cinder block house at 211 Casswall Street near the Old Sonoma Road. Alma passed away in 1990 at age 102 years, 10 months, and 20 days.  She is buried with her husband in the Buck lot at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa.
