Engagement of Ruth Hancock to William Imboden Is Announced
CLIMAXING a romance begun when both were in school is announcement of the engagement of Miss Ruth Hancock and Mr. William Imboden, revealed informally to friends this week.
Miss Hancock is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hancock of Napa, and is a graduate of local schools.  When in school she was active in student body activities, holding several offices during her senior term.  She graduated from that school with the class of '35, and since that time has been employed with Cameron and Company.
The attractive bride elect is a sister of Mrs. O. J. Martin of Vallejo, Mrs. H .C. Lacaze and Mr. Warren Hancock, both of Napa.
Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Imboden, and like his bride-to-be attended local schools.  For some time he has been employed with Frank Gaggero's cement plant.  He is a member of the Young Men's Institute and the Napa Moose Lodge.
Mr. Imboden is a brother of Mrs. Aldred Swanson, Louis, Peter, Ray, Frank and Joseph Imboden of Napa and Ed Imboden of Vallejo.
Although no date has been set for the wedding, it will probably be an event in early spring.
