Notes:  Andrew Mathieson Detwiller and Isabelle Beattie were married 25 Mar 1903 in Griggs
                                  County, North Dakota.  In the 1900 U.S. census, Isabel had been living as a
                                  servant in the home of Henry and Mathilda Detwiller, Andrew's 
                                  parents.  Their first child, Harold James was born in 1903, followed by 
                                  Myrtle Evelyn, 1904, and Vivian Edith, 1908.  In the 1910 U.S. census, Andrew was
                                  farming grain in Tyrol Twp., Griggs County, 4½ miles north of 
                                  Cooperstown.  Their last son, Ronald Henry was born in 1915.
  
                                  Both Andrew and Isabel were active in community, masonic, and church affairs. 
                                  Andrew died at home on 8 Feb 1937.  Isabel was still living on the family farm in 1940, 
                                  with her son Ronald.  Isabel died 13 Jul 1961, at the age of 80 years. 
                                  Both Andrew and Isabel are buried in the Cooperstown Cemetery,
                                  Cooperstown, North Dakota. |
